Many people struggle getting in their daily dose of water. Do you?
If you do struggle, it’s time to jazz up your water to make drinking a joy again.
When you infuse your water with herbs, fruit and veggies, you not only brighten it up, you wake up your taste buds. Infused water makes you feel refreshed and hydrated. It also helps you skip the sugar and artificial sweeteners when you’re craving something sweet.
Here are our favourite infused water recipes, pick the one that speaks to you and try it today!
Before you begin, a few side notes: You can float your ingredients freely in the pitcher, or use a built-in infuser pitcher that keeps the bits out of your water when you go to pour it. It depends if you like a little texture in your water and nibbling the fruit when your glass is empty.
Water can infuse overnight in the fridge. It tastes best when you leave it for 2 to 4 hours before drinking. As you can imagine, some ingredients last longer than others. With herbs, for example, fresh mint can lasts 2 to 3 days, but rosemary can last up to 7!
