Dr. Peets Talbot is a co-founder and medical director of Ocean Rock Wellness. She became passionate about treating the root cause of illness after seeing patients suffer with unexpected or premature medical complications. She believes that to improve one’s health you have to go beyond conventional therapies. Dr. Peets Talbot was the first physician in Bermuda to be trained in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Using a Functional Medicine approach she is helping people achieve and maintain their optimal health, from birth to beyond. She believes that a healthcare approach that recognizes that healthy living is a balance between wellness of the mind, body and spirit is the key. Dr. Peets Talbot also wants people to know they can be their own health hero, and with the right guidance and education, can unlock their health solution. Dr. Peets Talbot enjoys practicing yoga, dancing and spending time with her three beautiful girls.
Dr. Famous is a co-founder and Functional Medicine physician at Ocean Rock Wellness. Dr. Famous became an advocate for alternative medicine and its integration into medical practice after her own personal health decline. She used a whole foods, plant based diet to reverse her condition and is passionate about using food to heal. Dr. Famous uses her extensive knowledge base in functional medicine to help clients achieve optimum health. Dr. Famous has a unique ability to meet people where they’re at and give them practical advice as they navigate a new lifestyle. For example, Dr. Famous tries new recipes and homemade DIY personal care products with our clients, to help them feel comfortable implementing change. Dr. Famous walks the walk and talks the talk, becoming a true ambassador of anti-aging health! You can find Dr. Famous presenting educational content whenever the opportunity arises. She believes to have a lasting impression and improve our world-wide community, we need to teach simple strategies to promote change. Dr. Famous’ favourite spot to recharge is in the ocean. Swimming after school is a family must!
Beth Hollis is a co-founder and physiotherapist at Ocean Rock Wellness. Beth has a dynamic approach to wellness, and believes in being a life-long learner, bringing new skills and ideas to the team. Beth is a certified HeartMath practitioner, which means she can help people connect to their heart and to their breath for a unique healing experience. Beth makes giving back to the community a priority. She is an executive member of the Bermuda Physiotherapy Association and also sits on the Board of Physiotherapists, supporting and advocating for her profession. Her passion for learning is closely mirrored by her passion for teaching. Beth teaches weekly yoga classes, and likes to incorporate these skills in her physio practice, along with her highly rated manual therapy and acupuncture techniques! Beth truly enjoys seeing her clients overcome pain, recover from injuries and find a new confidence in their bodies. Beth is an active writer for Ocean Rock Wellness helping the team deliver valuable content through social media. Beth also enjoys leading her family on island adventures, like hiking through the jungle, rafting up with her friends and cliff jumping.
Dr. Cocy is a passionate advocate for holistic wellness, dedicated to empowering individuals to take charge of their health. Her naturopathic practice is rooted in six core principles: do no harm, identify and treat the root cause, support the body’s natural healing, educate patients, prevent illness, and promote overall wellness through evidence-based practices. With a focus on mental health, Dr. Cocy is committed to providing a safe, supportive environment where patients can achieve their health goals and maintain optimal well-being. She emphasizes an individualized approach, extending beyond conventional therapies to include dietary and lifestyle improvements tailored to each person’s needs. Outside of her clinical practice, Dr. Cocy enjoys quality time with her family and traveling.
