Meet Our Team


Ayesha Peets Talbot, BSc., MD, FAAP, DABIM, DABOM

Founder, Physician

Dr. Peets Talbot completed medical school at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. In her final year of medical school she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society (election to Alpha Omega Alpha is an honor signifying a lasting commitment to scholarship, leadership, professionalism, and service). Dr. Peets Talbot completed her post-graduate training at Virginia Commonwealth University in a Combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Residency Program. She is boarded in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.

She has continued to further her medical education by starting a Fellowship in Bariatric Medicine and became board certified in Obesity Medicine. She is passionate about helping people to achieve and maintain their optimal health, from baby to adulthood. She believes that a healthcare approach that recognizes that healthy living is a balance between wellness of the mind, body and spirit is the key.  She is currently continuing her education in Functional Medicine Practices.

Beth Hollis, BHSc., MPT, CKTP

Founder, Physiotherapist

Beth completed her Bachelor of honors in Health Sciences (BHSc) at Brock University St. Catharines, Ontario. This was followed by her Masters degree in Physical Therapy (MPT) at Western University London, Ontario. Beth is also a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner (CKTP). Beth has been working on the wards and in the out-patient Physiotherapy department at KEMH for the last 4 years, and is looking forward to bringing her wide range of knowledge and skills to Ocean Rock Wellness, Ltd.

Beth makes giving back to the community a priority. She recently became Deputy Chair of the Bermuda Physiotherapy Association (BPA) after completing four years as their Educational Officer. Beth also sits on the Board of Physiotherapists, always supporting and advocating for her profession. Her passion for learning is closely mirrored by her passion for teaching. Beth is currently studying acupuncture and completing her Yoga Alliance teacher training (RYT200) qualification. Beth is very excited to incorporate these new skills into her practice.

Sabrina Famous, BSc., MBBS

Founder, Nutrition Coach

Dr. Famous obtained her Bachelor of Science degree at Trent University. She attended The University of the West Indies School of Medicine in St. Augustine, Trinidad & Tobago and completed her clinical training at the UWI School of Clinical Medicine and Research in Nassau, Bahamas.

Dr. Famous has always been an advocate for alternative medicine and its integration into medical practice. She continues to pursue the education required to use that knowledge base to help patients achieve optimum health. Dr. Famous has become even more passionate about making this integration a reality and is currently enrolled in the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine’s Fellowship in Anti-Aging, Regenerative and Functional Medicine.

Dr. Renee Simons, Psy.D

Registered Clinical Psychologist, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapist

Dr. Simons received both her Masters and Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Simons obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Child and Family relations from the University of Guelph, in Ontario Canada.

Dr. Simons works with clients of all ages who may be struggling with behavioral and emotional problems. She also has experience conducting group therapy, and has facilitated groups for adolescent females, individuals with learning disabilities, individuals with substance abuse and mental health disorders. Typically, Dr. Simons conceptualizes cases through the use of a cognitive-behavioral framework. She also incorporates person-centered, behavioral, play therapy, and family systems techniques.

Dr. Simons completed her Pre-Doctoral Psychology Internship at the Mid-Atlantic Wellness Institute working with a diverse range of both adult and child clients. She received specialized training in Applied Behavior Analysis to treat children diagnosed with Autism and other developmental disabilities. In the past, Dr. Simons completed various summer internships within the Bermuda Hospitals Board, where she provided short-term psychotherapy to adults, co-facilitated psychotherapy groups and completed a full range of psychological testing.
